Finding Neptune is a modern rock band with intense musical contributions to bring life to original songs inspired by science, the search for meaning, humanity’s impact on the planet and the world’s need for superheroes to sort out its troubles. The band hopes that listeners will enjoy the individual performances on drums, bass and guitar that typically underpinned the songwriting style.

Andy

Andy Maritz is 34 years old with a deep passion for music and the music industry. With over 15 years of experience as a professional drummer, he is proud of the diverse music that he had the privilege of playing on thus far in his career and the massive contribution it has added to his career success.

Andy has enjoyed the opportunity to share the stage with ample great artists like Blues sensation Dan Patlansky, Pop Artist Connell Cruise, Contemporary Gospel group Duis:Lig and Prog Geniuses The TerraZAR. The last year he has been working and playing with Finding Neptune who dropped their debut album Quantum Fuzz in March 2020.

Sebastian

Sebastian is a singer songwriter with a passion for intricate guitar rhythms, tricky solos and meaningful lyrics about science, superheroes, shit that needs sorting out and the dichotomy of these ideas with  human relationships and the earth. He wrote and performed the rhythm and lead guitar parts for Stellenbosch based band Rugged FunKtion that featured Blues master Gerald Clark on lyrics and vocals.

Sebastian writes and performs the guitar parts, lyrics and vocal melodies in the classic three piece rock band Finding Neptune. The debut album Quantum Fuzz wraps up his playing and writing style in a modern high gain rock trio vibe.

Clint Funkoneti Falconer

Clint

Clint Falconer is a South African bass player with a history of jazz studies, having studied under Carlo Mombelli and studying jazz at TUT.

Clint has since then enjoyed a career with some of SA top artiss including Vusi Mahlasela, Elvis Blue and Dan Patlansky. Aside from this Clint has been deeply involved with the progressive music scene in South Africa, forming the TerraZAR and releasing two experimental  albums under his own name before joining Savage Lucy.

Clint has now joined Finding Neptune bringing with him his understanding of both for popular And progressive music into one project.
